Statement:Â Remembering the 1,000 Washingtonians Lost to COVID
As the District surpasses 1,000 COVID-19 deaths and the nation over half a million, we join with others in DC who are mourning the lives lost during the pandemic. Our hearts go out to all who loved them, including Mayor Bowser, who today announced the passing of her sister, Mercia.
